How to use the Cool Thorn cooling pad – simple, hygienic, and efficient

Cleaning and disinfection

Before use, the cooling mat is hygienically cleaned with standard cleaning agents or in the dishwasher. The smooth surface is easy to clean—no complicated disassembly required.

Freezing above
the head

The cooling mat is placed in the freezer with the pin side facing down. This allows the cooling medium to distribute evenly throughout the mat. This ensures consistent cooling performance across the entire surface and makes the mat reliable and ready for use—without any electricity or refilling.

No. The special cooling fluid is sealed inside the mat and does not need to be refilled. As long as the mat remains intact, the cooling function will continue to work permanently – without any maintenance.

Simply place it in the freezer or deep freezer – ideally with the pin side facing down. Once completely frozen, the mat is ready for use and can be used immediately.
